Highlighting the festivities of the Annual Union County Business & Professional Association’s Banquet was the naming of the 2006 Union County Man & Woman of the Year. Receiving this year’s honor as Woman of the Year is Ms. Lisa Booker, Branch Manager of First Century Bank of Maynardville, TN. Ms. Booker serves as a member of the UCBPA Board of Directors and as a member of the Union County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She is a graduate of Leadership Union County and is a WMU member and Sunday School teacher in her church.

Mr. David Nevin is honored as the Man of the Year. Mr. Nevin is a Juvenile Probation Officer with East Tennessee Human Resource Agency and serves on the Truancy Board for the Union County Juvenile Court. He has served in numerous capacities in Union County including the UCBPA Board of Directors, UC Toys for Tots, UC Board of Directors for REACHES, and United Way of Union County as well as many others. Mr. Nevin is a graduate of Leadership Union County. The UCBPA extends its heartiest congratulations and best wishes to Ms. Lisa Booker and Mr. David Nevin. |
